CONTROL AND ESTIMATION FOR A CLASS OF IMPULSIVE DYNAMICAL SYSTEMS

    Get PDF
The nonlinear dynamical control system with uncertainty in initial states and parameters is studied. It is assumed that the dynamic system has a special structure in which the system nonlinearity is due to the presence of quadratic forms in system velocities. The case of combined controls is studied here when both classical measurable control functions and the controls generated by vector measures are allowed.  We present several theoretical schemes and the estimating algorithms allowing to find the upper bounds for reachable sets of the studied control system.   The research develops the techniques of the ellipsoidal calculus and of the theory of evolution equations for set-valued states of dynamical systems having in their description the uncertainty of set-membership kind.  Numerical results of system modeling based on the proposed methods are included

HJB-INEQUALITIES IN ESTIMATING REACHABLE SETS OF A CONTROL SYSTEM UNDER UNCERTAINTY

Using the technique of generalized inequalities of the Hamilton--Jacobi--Bellman type, we study here the state estimation problem for a control system which operates under conditions of uncertainty and nonlinearity of a special kind, when the dynamic equations describing the studied system  simultaneously contain the different forms of nonlinearity in state velocities. Namely, quadratic functions and uncertain matrices of state  elocity coefficients are presented therein. The external ellipsoidal bounds for reachable sets are found, some approaches which may produce internal estimates for such sets are also mentioned. The example is included to illustrate the result

ESTIMATES OF REACHABLE SETS OF CONTROL SYSTEMS WITH BILINEAR–QUADRATIC NONLINEARITIES

The problem of estimating reachable sets of nonlinear impulsive control systems with quadratic nonlinearity and with uncertainty in initial states and in the matrix of system is studied. The problem is studied under uncertainty conditions with set – membership description of uncertain variables, which are taken to be unknown but bounded with given bounds. We study the case when the system nonlinearity is generated by the combination of two types of functions in related differential equations, one of which is bilinear and the other one is quadratic. The problem may be reformulated as the problem of describing the motion of set-valued states in the state space under nonlinear dynamics with state velocities having bilinear-quadratic kind. Basing on the techniques of approximation of the generalized trajectory tubes by the solutions of control systems without measure terms and using the techniques of ellipsoidal calculus we present here a state estimation algorithms for the studied nonlinear impulsive control problem bilinear-quadratic type

Analysis of technological conditions influence on efficiency of oilfield treatment

The results of influence of process parameters on oil quality and recommended effective technological modes of oilfield treatment processes are presented in this paper. It is shown that the parameters that significantly affect the efficiency of oil processes are temperature and water-oil emulsion flow rate with a given number of working process units and the structure of flowsheet flows

Recombinant Cathepsin L of Tribolium castaneum and Its Potential in the Hydrolysis of Immunogenic Gliadin Peptides

Wheat gliadins contain a large amount of glutamine- and proline-rich peptides which are not hydrolyzed by human digestive peptidases and can cause autoimmune celiac disease and other forms of gluten intolerance in predisposed people. Peptidases that efficiently cleave such immunogenic peptides can be used in enzyme therapy. The stored product insect pest Tribolium castaneum efficiently hydrolyzes gliadins. The main digestive peptidase of T. castaneum is cathepsin L, which is from the papain C1 family with post-glutamine cleavage activity. We describe the isolation and characterization of T. castaneum recombinant procathepsin L (rpTcCathL1, NP_001164001), which was expressed in Pichia pastoris cells. The activation of the proenzyme was conducted by autocatalytic processing. The effects of pH and proenzyme concentration in the reaction mixture on the processing were studied. The mature enzyme retained high activity in the pH range from 5.0 to 9.0 and displayed high pH-stability from 4.0 to 8.0 at 20 °C. The enzyme was characterized according to electrophoretic mobility under native conditions, activity and stability at various pH values, a sensitivity to various inhibitors, and substrate specificity, and its hydrolytic effect on 8-, 10-, 26-, and 33-mer immunogenic gliadins peptides was demonstrated. Our results show that rTcCathL1 is an effective peptidase that can be used to develop a drug for the enzyme therapy of various types of gluten intolerance
